BROWNS CREEK SAILING ASSOCIATION
Browns Creek Sailing Association is located on Lake Guntersville at the clubhouse at North Alabama Sailing Marina. Thirty minutes south of Huntsville, Alabama, one hour north of Birmingham, Alabama, just off Highway 69 on the west side of Guntersville, Alabama. The club, founded in 1975, is composed of sailors of all levels of seamanship who enjoy improving and honing their sport through races and their friendships through socials and after-race recaps. You do not have to have a boat slip at the marina to be a member of the association.
BCSA offers racing, socials and cruising. Sailing classes are offered each spring.

April 27, 28, May 4, 5, 2024
Class meets 10 am- 4 pm Saturdays and 1 pm-4 pm Sundays
Saturday schedule: 10 am- noon classroom sailing basics
Noon- lunch on the deck
1pm- 4 pm sailing training on helm and crew with instructor on board
Sunday schedule: 1 pm- 4 pm sailing training on helm and crew with instructor on board
Students need to attend all four days of instruction and bring a Type III life vest
$250/$350 couple, class fee includes 2024 BCSA membership
